six word fridays: transform

3 09 2010

you can never stay the same

experiencing successes, failures – adapting to change

you may not recognize the transformation,Six Word Fridays

until a while later you see

better or worse versions of yourself

depending on your approach to life

you accept, adapt or cry in rage

self-awareness, yes – but more is required

there is more to do, move!

standing in a puddle of pity

raging (roasting?) in a furious fire

gets you no where fast – cry,

raise your fist at your tragedies

then dear reader, move on – go!

discover there is more to you

than what experiences dare label you

Don’t stay still like dead sharks.
Sorry, had to quote Annie Hall.
